Roseman University isn’t just a place of learning—it’s a family
“Roseman has given us so much more than an education or a career. It has given us a shared experience, a deeper bond, and a sense of belonging. It’s a place where students, faculty, and staff lift each other up, work together, and truly feel like a family.”

Roseman University isn’t just a place of learning—it’s a family. For my family, Roseman has become an integral part of our lives, shaping our careers, our passions, and our relationships in ways we never could have imagined.
When I chose Roseman for my nursing education, I was drawn to the accelerated program that would allow me to start my career sooner. But what I found here was so much more than just a fast track to becoming a nurse. Roseman has given me a community that challenges me, supports me, and pushes me to be my best. I’ve always wanted to work in healthcare because I love taking care of people and standing up for them when they need support. My mom, my biggest inspiration, showed me the power of compassion through her own career. When I shadowed her during the summers, I saw firsthand the patience and love she poured into her clients, and I knew I wanted to do the same. Now, at Roseman, I’m building the skills and confidence to follow in her footsteps.
One of my favorite memories at Roseman was Halloween when my entire cohort dressed up together for a
For my dad, Ryan, Roseman became home after 16 years in private dental practice. What started as part-time work in the pediatric dental clinic quickly grew into a full-time passion for academics. He loved working with students, seeing their eagerness to learn, and experiencing the instant gratification of watching them master new skills. The camaraderie, cheerfulness, and compassion of the Roseman community made his transition seamless, and he’s never looked back. One of his proudest moments here was participating in the first Give New Utahns a Smile event, where students, faculty, and staff came together to provide dental care for refugees who otherwise had no access to treatment. That day exemplified what makes Roseman special—the shared commitment to service and making a difference.
For my mom, Lindsey, Roseman was a natural next step in her career after working as a nurse at Kauri Sue Hamilton, a school for severely disabled children. When she had the opportunity to mentor Roseman nursing students, she discovered a passion for teaching that led her to pursue a Master of Nursing in Education. She had been so impressed by the students she worked with that she knew Roseman was the right place for her to grow as an educator. Now, she finds immense joy in watching students build confidence as they develop their nursing skills, knowing she gets to play a small role in their journey.
Roseman has given us so much more than an education or a career. It has given us a shared experience, a deeper bond, and a sense of belonging. It’s a place where students, faculty, and staff lift each other up, work together, and truly feel like a family. And for us, that feeling extends beyond the walls of the university—it’s something we carry with us every day.
