Alyssa Sherick is the Director of Prospect Research and Donor Strategy for the Office of Philanthropy and Alumni Relations at Roseman University of Health Sciences. She earned an MBA from the A. Gary Anderson Graduate School of Management at UC Riverside, as well as a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
Alyssa brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit management, higher education strategy, and classroom education. She has successfully led initiatives in diversified revenue development; donor, staff, and volunteer engagement; program operations; and marketing strategy. Her leadership of cross-functional teams has encompassed overseeing global initiatives, developing sustainable partnerships, and enhancing organizational competency through strategic data analysis.
Within Higher Education, Alyssa has also held Lead Faculty roles impacting student learning outcomes, program development, and community partnerships. Her teaching expertise includes business, management, marketing, and hospitality.
At Roseman, Alyssa works closely with University leadership to shape and oversee the philanthropic strategy, ensuring that fundraising efforts align with Roseman’s mission and goals. She leads key initiatives focused on diversifying revenue streams, ensuring sustainable growth, and maximizing donor engagement through informed decision-making, providing in-depth research, data analysis, and operational guidance. Alyssa plays a critical role in cultivating and strengthening relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring the continued success of the University’s programs and services.
Alyssa is a dedicated lifelong learner with a passion for community engagement. She has mentored students and young professionals, helping guide their personal and career development. She thrives on building strong relationships and is committed to empowering others to reach their full potential and make a positive impact in their communities.
