Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Learning Innovation

Andrea LeClaire, PhD, RN, NEA-BC is the Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Learning Innovation for the College of Nursing. Dr. LeClaire has extensive academic experience as both faculty and administration since 2016. Prior to academia, she has clinical nursing experience including medical/surgical, orthopedics, rehabilitation, and behavioral health. This background also includes various leadership roles within these clinical areas.

Education

Dr. Andrea LeClaire received her PhD in August of 2020 in Nursing Health Care Systems from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Center, College of Nursing. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1985 from the University of Colorado. In 1995, Dr. LeClaire earned a master’s in Health Administration from the University of Colorado’s Executive program. In addition, Dr. LeClaire has a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Colorado State University.
