Katherine P. Smith, PharmD, FCCP, BCPS, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Maryland College of Pharmacy. She completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Arizona/University Medical Center and then went on to complete a Pediatric Specialty Residency at the University of Tennessee/LeBonheur Children’s Medical Center. She currently serves as a preceptor and residency program director for the PGY-1 Community Pharmacy Residency at Roseman University and People’s Health Clinic in Park City, Utah. She provides comprehensive medication management in an inter-professional setting to family medicine and pediatric patients at People’s Health Clinic, which is a free clinic serving the primary care needs of the uninsured of Summit and Wasatch Counties. Her research and practice interests include residency admissions, preventative care, and LGBTQ+ health.
