Dr. Ryan Jones is a Utah native who attended the University of Utah for both a Bachelors degree as well as a General Practice Residency (2013). He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Case Western Reserve University in 2012.
He discovered his appreciation for teaching in dental school as a student teacher for the public health courses as well as digital radiography. Dr. Jones began his career in education with Roseman University in 2014. His first responsibilities were in teaching cariology, treatment planning, and restorative dentistry. Later, he was given more opportunities to teach in other areas including removable and fixed prosthetics. His current assignment is as Patient Care Leader, supervising in the clinic.
Dr. Jones’ favorite thing about teaching at Roseman is creating friendships with the students and helping them to pursue a shared passion for dentistry. He has been faculty advisor for multiple student organizations, served as faculty senator and held appointments as liaison to national organizations.
