BIOGRAPHY:
Shavone Payne is the Clerkship Coordinator for the College of Medicine and joined the team in 2024. As the Clerkship Coordinator, she coordinates all aspects of the daily operations of the clerkship program so the medical students can complete their medical rotations. Shavone also participates in the long-range planning and development of the program; manages and coordinates student placement and provides analytical and programmatic support to the Associate Dean of Clinical Education and Clerkship Directors.
She attended California State University of San Marcos and received two bachelor’s degrees, a BA in Human Development, and a BA in Communication. Shavone has worked in many different industries including retail, finance, healthcare, and education. Shavone has worked in post-secondary education with chartered high schools aiding in enrollment and ensuring education compliance standards were met. Prior to employment with Roseman, Shavone worked in Regulatory Operations/Affairs with a public online university.
