2024 Research Seminar Series Concludes
The Research Seminar Series helps students across Roseman University to access and understand scholarly research.
In December, the College of Graduate Studies concluded its fall Research Seminar Series. This series included four presentations by graduate students about research conducted in the field of oral health.

- “Biomimetic pulp scaffolds prepared from extracellular matrix derived from stem cells from human exfoliated deciduous teeth promote pulp-dentine complex regeneration,” Samuel Chen (Class of 2025)
- “Impact of SLS containing toothpastes and its effect on the oral cavity,” Roger Xu (Class of 2025)
- “Analyzing the link between Alzheimer’s disease and periodontal disease,” Vanessa Chavez-Sinks (Class of 2025)
- “The effects of digital dentistry on oral health,” Jonathan Blackwell (Class of 2025)

This research series occurs every other week and is open to the entire university community. The 2025 Research Seminar Series will kick off on January 8, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. PST / 4:00 p.m. MST. For those interested in attending, an invitation and Zoom link will be sent out on the day of the event.
