DSO Manager Joins College of Dental Medicine
In this staff spotlight, Gabryel Correia discusses his career and decision to work at Roseman University College of Dental Medicine.
In October, Gabryel Correia joined Roseman University as the College of Dental Medicine’s Dental Service Organization (DSO) Manager.
Prior to coming to Roseman, Gabryel worked as an office manager at a senior living community. In this role, he “focused on improving systems and processes to help seniors live with more comfort, dignity, and a higher quality of life.”
“My work has always been about creating environments that prioritize [residents’] well-being and offer compassionate care,” Gabryel shared. “This focus on making things run more smoothly while keeping the personal touch has really shaped my career, and it naturally led me to my current role as DSO Manager,”
“As the DSO Manager at Roseman University, I oversee the student rotations at DSO sites, making sure they have a positive learning experience,” Gabryel explained. “I handle all the logistics, work with different departments, and provide the resources students need to succeed.”
“My goal is to lay a solid foundation as the program grows and to streamline everything so that we’re set up for long-term success,” he continued. “I’m excited to be part of shaping the future of the program and working alongside my team to exceed our goals.”
In his new role, Gabryel is most excited about the impact he’ll have. “I’m driven by the idea of making a real, positive difference in people’s lives—whether that’s through direct care or by improving the systems that support it,” he said.
When asked about his background, Gabryel shared “I’m originally from Brazil, and while I’ve enjoyed living in the United States, my roots in Brazil are a huge part of who I am. I’m proud of my heritage, and being able to bridge both Brazilian and American cultures has been such an enriching experience.”
In his free time, Gabryel enjoys spending time with and cooking for his family. “I find it both relaxing and fulfilling to prepare meals for those I care about,” he shared. “It’s one of my favorite ways to show love and connect with the people I’m closest to.”
He also enjoys traveling to new places and camping. “[These activities give] me the chance to explore new places, recharge, and reconnect with nature.”
