[I’m] striving to be like my favorite faculty I had in dental school.”
A Tennessee native, Dr. McKinney was born and raised in the small town of Newbern. After attending Middle Tennessee State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in biology, he went on to receive his doctorate degree at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee. “I chose dentistry,” he said, “because I wanted to make an immediate impact on peoples’ quality of life and confidence.”
