We first introduced Jeremy Wells, JD as Chancellor of our South Jordan, Utah campus, on May 19th. Today we’re digging a little deeper and peeling back the layers to get to know South Jordan’s recent addition.
Jeremy Wells joins us from South College where he was the Chief Academic Officer. He is new to the South Jordan area by way of Knoxville, Tennessee, where he says is “home to fantastic southern food and hospitality.” Wells has a weak spot for food trucks and really enjoys planning “outdoor daddy adventures” for his children.
“Anything that doesn’t involve screens!” Wells shares.
His favorite quote often changes, but for right now he enjoys the sentiment that we shouldn’t always believe what we think.
“This reminds me to challenge my preconceived notions, listen more, strive for more empathy, and gather correct data.”
Wells is excited about his new role at Roseman and is passionate about helping students and employees find meaning and purpose in their chosen careers.
“Roseman University has a fabulous reputation and I wanted to be a part of something really special,” he shares. “My goals are to improve the awareness of Roseman in the community and introduce new programs to the current academic offerings.” He is inspired by his Dad who he says is “full of optimism and energy.”
“The man is a machine when it comes to working hard.”
Wells’ favorite snack is Reese’s Pieces, and he thinks it’s high time he tries ice curling.
Thank you Jeremy Wells for sharing more about yourself! We look forward to the many contributions you will impart to Roseman University students, faculty, and staff.
