The program is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and has been since January 2004. The program is accelerated so that the classroom portion of the curriculum can be completed in two years.  Courses are taught using a block model, where students are able to focus on one content area at a time.  Students report that this model allows for greater focus and, subsequently, increased retention of course information.

Students begin to participate in introductory pharmacy practice experiences right away at the start of the first year and continue to participate in these experiences during the entire two years of classroom learning.  This allows for the immediate application of learned content to the care of the patient.  The third and final year of the program is dedicated to advanced pharmacy practice experiences where students prepare for the responsibility of independent provision of patient care. Experiences are offered in a number of locations and practice settings, including elective international experiences. Graduates are very well prepared for the workforce.

Our graduates have accepted positions in nearly every imaginable area of pharmacy practice.  Some graduates choose to pursue postgraduate education opportunities, and the College of Pharmacy’s placement rate in residencies meets or exceeds the national average.  I am very proud of our graduates and what they have been able to accomplish using the education and training they obtained at Roseman. On behalf of the administration, faculty, students, and staff of Roseman University of Health Sciences, it is my pleasure to welcome you.  The profession of pharmacy has been very rewarding to me, and I hope it will be rewarding to you.  Please let me know if you have any questions or require additional assistance.  I look forward to personally welcoming you to the Roseman family.
