Roseman NCPA Students Volunteer with the Elderly

January 16, 2012

Pharmacy students from the Roseman University South Jordan chapter of the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) volunteered with the residents of The Wentworth at Draper Assisted Living Community on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

Roseman students Que-Chau Ngo and Youjin Seo spent the afternoon playing BINGO and painting residents’ fingernails. It was the first time students have volunteered at The Wentworth at Draper.

“We were looking for ways to do volunteer work, and we hope to be able to come back at least once a month,” said Que-Chau. Staff members at Wentworth said residents enjoy volunteers like the Roseman NCPA students because they keep them company and have fun doing activities and playing games.
