Dr. Christina Madison, Associate Professor of Pharmacy, represented Roseman as a guest speaker on a health related panel this past Fri., Jan. 17. The panel was on behalf of Firstmed Health and Wellness Center during its Town Hall meeting. The Town Hall meeting was held to inform the community about the clinic’s services, educate the community about the value of the Community Health Center model and the Center’s role in the Affordable Care Act.
The panel included representatives from the community from the local, state, and federal level. The main focus of the panel was to discuss access to health care services in Southern Nevada.
Firstmed Health and Wellness Center is a primary care clinic for adults, adolescents, and children. Their vision is to be a leader in providing health care services to all sectors of the community regardless of ability to pay and to develop a healthcare model utilizing economic and environmentally sustainable practices.
